Invited by Museu do Amanhã, SupLab developed Ventos que Contam ("Winds that Tell"): a large interactive LED tree at the center of the museum's Innovation Space, conceived by scientist Nina da Hora and set in a room divided into four zones inspired by the elements of nature. The tree anchors the Air zone, embodying da Hora's premise that wind, like innovation itself, moves through and reshapes everything it touches.Rooted in Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous cosmology, we built the piece around three interactive totems, turning Air into a living entity, imbued with ancestry through light, color, animation, and sound, immersing visitors in a space of creation and contemplation that recognizes Afro-Indigenous and Latin American knowledge as technologies of the future.
